O well got my new tank today

All I can say is holey snappin duck shit thats heavy 130kg of glass

but fit's perfect in it's spot



you can see a bit of my 55gal in the back left corner

dimensions for those who don't know 72"x24"x 28" = 175 gal

Nice looking tank, it almost the exact same as mine (72x24x30) is yours 12mm glass all round? are you sure its only 130kg? When mine was delivered they said "only if you have 3 guys to help the driver, it weighs about 200kg..."

Either way the fish will love it. I was extremely chuffed when I got mine tto. Are you going to do a background on yours? I went for just black paint.

Similar size to mine(6x2x2), when it was delivered I was surprised how heavy it was and couldn't believe the guy came alone without asking if there was anyone able to help lift it. most people wouldn't want to risk trying to carry that weight.

i wrote an article on moving big tanks, just because i noticed that everyone who is moving a tank that size, is quite surprised by the weight of a full glass tank!
I know i was, and so were the 4 guys that helped me out.
but you don't need the article now, i guess...

if i ever were to sell my tank, i'll tell the one who's buying it from me to bring at least 5 people, for it's weight is a bit too much.

I dunno if this is correct, but one of the guys that helped me lift it, made a calculation and if i'm right my full glass tank weighs about 175 Kg.
but once it's in place, it brings so much fun!

it looks like your hoses on the filters are to short to keep the canisters on the floor,right?

Has the 55 allready got a new destination?

Mine 140 gallon is acrylic and I was insanely amazed at how light it was. I think it may weigh less than my 60 gallon glass tank. My wife and I were able to move it.

that website isnt to badly priced gaz, they probably only deliver round u guys though?
