Pretty much every thing is done or well under way (tank,stand wise)

But I can't decide what color gravel to use

I have 3 buckets of black and 1 of red bout the same size

But with the dark blue background (almost black)

lite ,dark,mixed, black arrrrrrr

suggestions with pics would be great or what works

i've been there too... what i did was make a mixture and try to see the
effect.... since i want all colors to be in...i end up mixing them all...
but for my hug tank... i don't have any....

Gazza, it is all personal preference... I have a dark background (black) so I went with a natural colored gravel.. But I do think that I like the light substrate with the dark background!

I like natural. When I set up the 100 ltr in my bedroom I let my 4 yo daughter pick and I ended up with rainbow rocks....thankfully I recently changed them to natural...told her the fishes needed new carpet....shaz...ps did you whipper snippet yet? Are you getting this rain? If you have a rain tank capture it for your new fish tank?

I like the look of black gravel also. It's personal preference. I would probably leave it black only and go w/o the red. The good news is... if you get tired of one type or color of gravel, you can just switch it out to something else.
