I recently decided to add another fish to my tank with my Oscar. I thought that would cure my itch to get more... It only made it worse. Now I'm thinking that I will need to get a bigger tank for the two of them once they reach their mature size. Which means more fish for the old tank!
I'm thinking about a 180us gal tank, but have looked around on the net and made a couple phone calls and haven't really found anything that is even close to reasonable except for Petland. In the month of Dec. ONLY they could get me a 125 us gal kit for $799, but 125 is the biggest they can get. Plus that means I have to wait until Dec to get it.
What do you guys think? Would the O and Severum enjoy the 125 gal or should I keep looking for something bigger yet?
How hard is it to care for a 180 vs 125?
Opinions and suggestions welcome!

Thank you!

Severums are absolutely fantastic tankmates for Oscars. I have got two of them, very placid and nonaggressive

How much more work is 180 gallon tank compared to a 125 gallon tank? Not much, no more than half an hour I would say
I may not always be right, but I am always the boss
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved

Get the 180 or in a few months you will end up getting the 180 and you will have wasted you money on a 125. Look on the net for tank makers. You will find one somewhere and most will deliver (for a charge). Try buying a tropical fish mag as these often have adverts in for tank makers. Most tank makers will make a cabinet for you or will know/ organise on to be made for you
