I can get hold of a heap of local shrimp (my O loves em)

Would it hurt to put some in the new tank while it's cycling ?

Would this help or hinder the cycle process ?

They won't last long when when the new occupants move in

your thoughts please
Cheers Gaz

I don't see how it could hurt anything... However, I doubt seriously they produce enough waste to help at all with the cycle...

Anything that lives in water will help the cycle. They will produce ammonia and therefore help the cycle. What else are you using to cycle. How about some goldfish?

Hey gaz...my thoughts would be that it would be good as it will increase activity with waste and bacteria. That being said...are the shrimp from a reputable supplier? You don't want to introduce anything unwelcome into the tank...and when the homeowners move in....don't let them overeat!!!

Done that wipper snippering yet? With all this rain and sunshine I bet the yard looks like it did before!
