Hi all , Looking to buy a new filter, it will probably be an Fx5, been searching the web for one, but it seems to me there is a tremendous price difference in all the filters advertised , anywhere from £137-£350ish. Noob question coming , are they all the same model and if so why such a huge price difference? thx

The FX5 is all the same. So go with the best price. BUT make sure you know weather or not they are new, if they are complete filters, if they have any media, but other than those things, an FX5 is an FX5!
It's NOT smart to piss off the girl with the BAN button!

They are all the same, some places charge more than others. Check ebay, thats where i got mine from (£130). It was a proper shop that sold on ebay cheap. Just check who you are getting it from and make sure they have a premises. Pay with a credit card and you are covered if they dont deliver

Most local LFS's round my way sell them for £170
I can't get no sleep

I bought mine online too. Although I try to support the LFS, I have limits. Online was MUCH cheaper.
