so when using a python (or a knock off version such as "lees ultimate gravel vac") how to i get it to siphon water out of the tank?

well i just suck on the pipe to get the flow going, lol xx

Ok, I don't have one but I researched them last time they were mentioned on this forum...don't they have a flash little attachment to the tap which uses the flow of water from the tap to create suction? Is that right? Let me know because I am thinking about one...and kazzy you are one brave chicky...I just can't bring myself to suck on my fishy hoses...it does my head in....shaz x

I connect it to the garden hose and put the gravel cleaner in the tank. turn on the hoe for a few seconds till the hose is full than turn it off and diconnect hose from the tap and the siphoning begins...everytime.

sometimes i get a mouth full or two, mmmmmmm tasty
