i'm looking to buy a new filter for my 25 gallon fish tank with 2 oscars in it. i want somthing that i could use on a bigger tank in the future. any sugestions

if the twenty five gal is only temp you should get a canister filter. imo eheim and fluval are two of the best brand on the market rena also make a good filter. what is comes down to it price. also i would get as big of a filter as you can(gph).remember you can never overfilter an oscar tank. if your looking for a hob type filter aqua clear and marineland make the best for smaller tanks.

also a 25 gal is way small for 2o's you should be looking in 100gal+ range. they will outgrow a 25 in a very short time

I agree with necromancer, get the biggest filter you can afford. You will need at least a 75g for 2 oscars so go for a fluval 405 or equivalent

Get a move on with the new tank, oscars grow really really quick
