hi there do any of you use a battrey gravel cleaner to clean you oscars mess up as ive been looking at one for a while now but as my rena tank is 2 foot deep i can only see that the eheim model would suit has any of you used one or recomend one please

I had a clearer like this , not sure what make, batterys always run out and to be honest it was the worst thing I ever got for my tank. For a start it was too short,then it only picked up the smallest crap, not the large oscar crap i get. try before you buy is my advise. Someone put a post up about a home made one "cleaning madness" i think it was. It used a old pump that wasnt being used anymore and they were happy. i would say give this a look, or use a good siphon tube.

cheers m8 ,ive looked through my bits box which came with my tank and i have managed to fit my gravel cleaner onto my inlet pipe crook on my external rena xp3 and whooooo power cleaner and no mess ,now thats what im talking about cheers m8

Just buy a standard gravel cleaner and attach it to a longer tube that goes into a waste like kitchen sink or even better a drain. The syphon should be enough to clean the gravel
