Those filters are not sold here in the UK. I just been looking them up. Have they actually got any biological filtration? It doesn't seem to mention that at all, just carbon filtration. They are rated up to 100 gallons so would obviously be okay on your tank. However, it does seem that carbon filtration plays a big part in these filters. Personally, you don't need carbon in your filter. Yes, carbon can help clear the water, however it is generally used to remove impurities from the water, such as old medication.. Carbon needs to be changed on a regular basis. Mechanical and biological filtration does not need to be changed, it just needs to be kept clear of too much debris.
If you could give me a little bit more information about your filter, even better, if someone else actually uses one, they could give you their benefit of their experience, I have never used one of these filters before.
