does anyone have any expierence with the fluval fx5 looking at it and its price it would be the cheapest way to over filter my 75 gallon asit seems huge lol what yal think any info

I haven't used one myself. I think they provide enough filtration for about 300 gallons [1200 L] I don't think they'll be anything wrong with putting one of these filters on your tank, you certainly wouldn't have to clean it for a few months anyway:laugh:
The only thing that would concern me is these filters are extremely big, bigger than your average canister filter. A filter like this probably will not fit in the cabinet under your tank. I've never put a canister at the side of the tank, but I would imagine it would be okay. Might be a little noisy and unsightly though
