for 4 oscars you do not have a large enough tank or filters. your tank is 75g uk and your filters around 500litres. your set up is a good size for 1 oscar with a few smaller mates and your filters are good for this too. or just about enough for 2 oscars but I would say you need bigger(125). oscars pair off after a 1yr or more so you will have 4 very large oscars in a small tank.

you need 150 uk gallons with enough filteration for 300+gallons to cope with 4 fish. you are about to run into problems, at the mo you will cope cos they are small, in 2 months your life will become water change after water after water change. I would loose 2 if i were you.

marcus is bang on on this one. 4 oscars in a 75 gallon tank just wont work. even with a 150 you could run into problems. i had my four oscars in a 190 imp gallon tank and still ran into aggression problems. (fortunetly i had the room and the extra tanks to rehouse the aggressor which was a red oscar i bought in feb. who is now 10 inches in lengh and the battle was for male dominace in the tank.)

for a tank your size i would recommend one oscar and a couple of mid sized tankmates(around 6 inches full grown). also i would increase the filtration by replacing the 205 with something a a little larger like aanother 304 or a 405. the increase in fitration will only reduce your maintenace load and make your fishkeeping more enjoyable.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

this is an addictive hobby, so its good to start it
right. you will enjoy watching your fishes as they grow.
better enjoy caring in a right way than feeling sorry when
trouble begins for having overstock.
