I have a 130 gallon tank with 2 aquaclear 110 but the water is a murky yellowish colour the fish are 4 oscars 3 juvies 1 full grown 4 convicts 1 jd 1 chocolate cichlid 1 uaro 2 parrots 18 in id shark 1 pleco for clean up. here is my question should i get a fx5 filter or throw another aq110 on there? thanx any help appreciated

you have great stock over there. they seems
all healthy. having no substrate is much easier to
maintain. additional fx5 will be okey... or additional
power head can help you drive all dirt at the suction
point of your existing pump. you can take some ideas
in my posting next to this topic: " water current in the tank"

i also have an aquaclear 70 powerhead that i turn on once in a while but i think the tank is to deep

fx5 is always the way to go DEFINATELY

yeah, powerhead are meant to agitate or bubbles
spray inside the tank and must be place 6 inches
below the water level to make it effective. however,
if you used the powerhead hose and other gadgets in the box,
it can deliver the water 2 meter above the water level of the tank.

definitely FX5 is enough to cover your additional filtration

you are overstocked and this may have something to do with your water colour. Have you tested for nitrates?
