Hi there everyone!! 3 days to go and im looking forward to having my oscar a brand new home (a 110g tank). could anyone give me a last call on what should i buy. to be organized may u pls answer the following questions

1.) Do you recommend a 110g tank for 1 tiger oscar and 5 silver dollars? how much will be the cost of the 110g tank in ur estimation (in any currency) so i will have a basis somehow.

2.)what filter do you advice for the said tank and how much will it cost? (rough estimate again as a bisis)

a 110 gallon tank should be more than adequate for a single oscar and school of sd's. to filter a tank of that size i would suggest two fuval 405's or a similarly size eheim canister or a fluval fx5.
as for the price of these items, that varies by location but your best bet is to look on ebay for your filter needs.

depends on location as necro had said.... in us or canada, FX5 will cost around US$250.00+++shiping, taxes. while tank is minimal.... in Manila, tank alone of that size will cost only about US$50.00 without stand... or you could have it costume built at site by local glass supplier.they will install it according to the available space in your preference.
