TOPIC: New tank

New tank 3 years, 1 month ago #29598

Does anyone ever get to that point and start to think that your current tank is too small. When I finally got to set up my 150 gal. I finally got to clean out my 65 gallon tank and I was really looking at it, thinking man I used to think this was big.

Now, I have that evil little troll on my saying this 150 gallon isn't big enough. You need something bigger....

...WHY...

It's the addiction, you seem to have a bad case of fish keeping syndrome. I used to whine about cleaning the 30 gallon, after a few cleanings in the 180 the 30 is like playtime
If you can't beat them...arrange to have them beaten!

OHH MY !!!!! that a difficult question.... i started wit a 15 gal tank and had an oscar for 2 years. it grow 12 inches with good vibrant color. i was so proud then to have such a huge beautiful oscar. then, all of a sudden, a new technology was introduced (hydroponics), and i got a 90 gal tank. but then a good opportunity came along.... a 110 gal tank with stand and pump cost me US$ 17.90. how can i refuse. then recently, i decided to save my tiny yellow SURVIVOR. in so doing, i end up with a lot of glass panels for my next tank... despite of my wife's resistance....

just put some convenient outlet for the pump connection,
install the filter, run it and when cycled, put the fishes in it. you will now have a bathtub fish tank. i am sure your fishes will be happy in it. the only problem is, we might see you in there with the fishes.

seriously, that is no difference with our back yard food production
drive wherein people are using a drum cut into halves to raised eel,
mudfish, catfish, or tilapia
