Everything looks really good. The gravel makes a big difference I know. I took 33.4 pounds out of mine and now it's so much easier to vacuum. The oscars look very happy in their clean water. Nice job!

Thanks Mike. The python makes a huge difference too. I can give them constant water changes in a tenth of the time to keep the nitrate level at a bare minimum.

Looking good Bri. Any leads on a bigger tank yet? If you think they're happy now just wait until you get them into a 6 footer.

Lamm I've been on the prowl but my issue isn't really money but space. I recently moved into my great grandmother's old house that has been used as family storage for decades so I'm cramped. I literally have a grand piano taking up the other half of my living room so I have to get my family members to get all this crap out so I have more space. Once this piano is gone I have the perfect spot for a beautiful 200 gallon for these 2 to get old and fat in.

"literally have a grand piano taking up the other half of my living room" lol, oh man. That thing would weigh an absolute ton. At least you know your floor will be able to handle the weight of a big tank, I guess?

Haha yup its been here since the 50's. Too beat up and out of tune to sell and it's so big and heavy that people won't pay for it they want to BE paid to come and take it. But yeah its all hardwood. God knows what it weighs but I can pretty much put 2 6 foot tanks where it is with zero worries about weight.

Jeez... take an axe to it maybe? If it can't be sold and people won't remove it for free...

Yeah I hear ya but my family is all attached to it as it was my great grandmother's piano etc. Believe me if I can have that side of my living room filled with a beautiful 200 gal and a community tank it would have already happened. I'd have a tank above my toilet if I could pull it off lol
