Hey everyone, can someone give me some knowledge/advice on this? I ordered it through amazon, and I'm just not sure how to use it.

carbon huh! you can keep healthy fish even without using it... carbon are meant to capture unwanted minerals and chemicals including med and must be replace after their useful life.... wrap it with those fiber cloth or wool and put it like any other filter media

I don't have carbon in any of my filters, that's why I was kind of confused why it says that. This is floss.

Oh.... i just lay the floss ontop.of the foam block in the ac110. Just grab a handful and spread it out. I put the purigen on top of the floss them another cut to fit peice of foam to sandwich it all in. Im going to start using a finer peice of foam instead of the floss.

Check out www.swisstropicals.com im gonna cut some of the 30 ppi foam and use it instead of the floss. I think the 45 ppi would have been a better choice though

yes... fiber floss being used to wrap some biomedia or as plain media that help catch the suspended
particles and becomes effective as it matured....

I use PFF in all my filters, including the wet/dry sump (on drip tray). You'd be amazed @ what it catches. GREAT stuff. B)
