Hey rory :D That's awesome. Shoot me a pm and I'll see if I can help!

Using this I'm getting 78 US gal by the way www.firsttankguide.net/calculator.php

Because of the small depth fish like oscars might be out... If that were my tank I'd be very, very tempted to do a small(ish), relatively peaceful American cichlid tank.

Why'd you move FG from the 6ft? I thought Tigger was in that one. I'm guessing you rehomed the latter?

You know, you should take FG when you move ;) they ship fish all over the world! Fish-safe esky + cycled sponge filter and airstone and he'd be right for quite a long time (you could also keep his bio media cycled - put some of it in a stocking with an airline set up and put it in with him). Set up a 55 gal rubbermaid tub with his filter hooked up when you get to your new place, then get a tank and voila, lol.

I'm glad to hear that, and I see! Honestly, if I can squeeze in the room for him and it's before November/December this year then yeah I reckon we could work something out. Wouldn't be too much trouble to have one more fish for a couple of weeks... I might be moving myself early next year though, that's all so there's a somewhat limited time window.
