Oscarfish_love created the topic: tank size question

I have a flatback hexagon tank I bought it used and it said 70 gallon tank the dimensions are 48 Long X 21 1/2 Tall X 16 wide I wanted to upgrade from a 55 gallon I can't find inexact straight answer but from what I've seen this could be a 70 or 80 gallon or it could be just a 60 gallon it looks substantially larger than my 55 seems a lot taller and a lot wider continuing give me some help with this

71.5 US gallons. Better than 55, but a hex tank is not a good layout for an Oscar. Try to seek out a rectangle of at least 48x18 base. Get as big as you can afford, or have space for. Oscars do so much better in life with decent swim space.
