hi ill start by saying hello heres the question i have a 405 and an ex1200 running my filtration if i conect the sucksion pipe from one of my filters to the pipe on a under gravel filter tray will this benefit me more than just running the two filters the conventional way??????? im thinking it will give me a large surface areato pull waste of the gravel thanx

Personally,I would use your two filters as they are meant to be used, and if you still want to use your under gravel filter, get a powerhead.

will it pull the waste through the gravel though? will the filter draw the surface area of the under g filter?

ugf is good for small tank but you need regular vacuuming of the
substrate to remove waste embedded in it.
