Any type of device that increases oxygen in the water can't be a bad thing. Do Oscars like bubble walls? From my experience, they are not frightened of them, in fact sometimes they actually sit amongst the bubbles and seem to enjoy the sensation of the bubbles around their body. You got to remember that an Oscar may appear intelligent but it has still got a very primitive brain so when you actually refer to them as liking something, I think it is not quite the same as a dog enjoying being petted or something like that.

I reckon that when a fish sits among the bubbles or swims through them more than would be normal from just moving around the tank randomly, it is because they enjoy the feeling in a similar way to when people tickle trout. The trout likes the feeling

I have found that my oscar loves swimming through or just sitting in the bubbles that are made by the filter. He will frequently visit that spot in the tank.

My Oshie loves the bubbles. I sometimes turn them off at night, as the tank is in my bedroom and is a little noisy. In the morning, I plug it back in and he swims right over, then comes to me for food!!! Piggy.

My Oscars used to love playing in bubble walls. The bubble wall kept them entertained when they weren't begging or vandalizing my decorations and expensive equipment.
My current Oscars are denied the pleasure because I can't stand the noise of air pumps any more. They have to make to with high pressure recirculation currents (which are nearly as good) and chasing remote controlled submarines.

Thanks everyone for helping me out!!
New to the Oscars and they are providing some good entertainment for us, and the visitors as the show piece in the lounge room.
Thanks again!
