i have a 4ft (220ltr) 125x36x46 tank, im currently running a "minjian NS f800" that does "650lph" , was wondering if putting 2 side by side is over kill for filtration?

1 seems to being doing the job ok, but can u never have enough filtration, right?

yap, you can never over filter your tank....
the ideal is for HOB type X10, for canister
type X5.... for a 220 liter tank size, you need
at least 1100LPH canister.... 650 is barely 3X
the size of your tank...thus 2 units would be fine.

Paul is spot on, you cant overfilter and 2 filter are better than one- one acts as insurance in case the other fails

I would love to see an Eheim 3 professional running on a 55 gallon tank, that would be rather like putting a Ferrari engine in a robin reliant
