so my water level in the tank has droped faster than normal ive noticed this pass week. the room temp is around 69 degress and at night dropes down to about 54. ya i no cold but its just how the weather has changed latly. the tank water is set to 79 degrees. can the now colder nights evaporate the water quicker with the water temp being so high? the water has dropped i want to say maybe a quarter of an inch sence past water change which was saturday. another difference to the tank i added about a 35inch wall of bubbles this past saturday just cause it looks cool. could this huge wall of bubbles................. which i might add is a serious bubble wall putting out like huge amounts of bubbles which are big bubbles i might add not little girly bubbles ...........aid in the evaporation of water? i looked for leaks and i have none that i can see so im guessing its the new bubble wall or high temp and cold nights?

Is probably related to the temperature in your tank, the warmer it is, the more evaporation you will get. Evaporation is quite normal, it happens in all tropical aquariums

i have noticed since adding a bubble wall to my tank, not nearly as big as yours but bubble wall in the same that there is more water on my glass lids than usual and it is situated where the bubble wall is. i am guessing that the bubble it makes on the surface pop and water flies upwards onto the glass and forms together...not sure if that is happening to yours but yeah...

anytime you increase the water/air surface area in your aquarium your going to get more evaporation (bubbles do this). ambient humidity also has an effect.

bubbles will burst and splash the top glass(if you have a condensation cover that is?) or soak into your lid. also the temperature changing will play a small part. i think its a bit of both but more the bubble wall. try turning it off, but make sure you have a anti back syphon filter in the air line or you may end with a very wet floor.

Have a look at the surface of you water. Are the bubbles causing small water droplets to come out of the water
