i would like to rearrage my tank. I know that it will mess up the territories that the O's have set up but would it cause a war? I would also like to know if doing this will mess up my levels in the tank (nitrates, Nitrites, etc)

Your Oscars might pout for a few hours but other than that it wont hurt anything!!! Good luck!

rearranging the tank won't change the water condition as long as
you do not shut off any pump in it. but the tank will give you and
the fishes a new tank atmosphere

As long as you clean your gravel regularly then you will not have a problem. If you dont clean your gravel then you might disturb all the crap and this might pollute your water and end up sending your nitrates up. A good gravel clean and water change will solve this
