I just buy the sheets of it at Petsmart and cut to fit... Hope this helps

yeah, a synthetic fiber being used in making quilt can also be considered.
just cut them to fit and layered.

Sorry for the delay replying Paul, haven't been on much lately, I have been great, hectic with xmas and all, other than that, all is good. Thanx for the tip on the filter media. Somehow something foreign got into my 70gal tank and messed up the water, I am suspicous that the ole lady had something on here hands when cleaning the glass, or it could have been my fault, I used a garden hose I don't normally use because the one outside was froze up. There could have been some water standing inside the hose that went bad, I forgot to run water through it for a while before refilling, anyway I was fortunate enough to have so many aquariums set up I just moved fish around until I can get the 70 cleaned and cycled again, they are a little cramped right now, but better than being floaters LOL.

ouch! that suck. you have to do a lot of water maintenance with the crowded
tank to avoid water issues... don't you have extra filter running with the
other tank? you can barrow one and run it with the newly cleaned tank,
import some establish water tank too to cycle it instantly.
