Well, Craigslist did it again. 120 gal with oak cabinet stand and a sump filter - $200. It also comes with a ton of stuff inside... fish that are going back to the fish store.
Now, I know nothing about sump filter. This one has 2 chambers (pic coming tomorrow) and inside the tank is a huge piece that takes up a section of the back of the tank (in the middle).
Do I keep his media? His tank is green tinted with algea so the walls will need a good scrub. I'm replacing all his other stuff inside too.
Big thing is the media. He has no idea what type of filter it is. There are no markings on it either. Just a pump with a model number on it. I'm hoping to get a nice close up pic in the morning so that you all can help me figure out what it is and what the media inside needs to be.
