Happy New Year. Thanks for all your help this past year. I have learned a good lesson ; Most of the time the problems with fish are all their owners faults. Anyway, I have 2 Emperor 400 HOB filters. Does anyone have any suggestions for bio material in them?

I cannot give you the benefit of my experience because they do not sell these type of filters in the UK.however, check this website out, this should give you all the information you need

why do you think that is penn? surely there must be a market for entry level aquarium owners in the UK.

Emperor 400 is the top of the line when considering HOB filters. I reccomend filter floss, however there are a plethora of options.

why do you think that is penn? surely there must be a market for entry level aquarium owners in the UK.


Here in the uk they normally only sell power filters that go inside the tank not on the outside
