Ok...so I got the Rena XP4 that my aunt had for me...she was thinking just the impeller assembly was bad but I put in a new impeller and it doesn't spin when its plugged in...I'm assuming this means the motor is burnt out?

Found a new motor for $90 but didn't really want to spend that much. Only good news is I have two XP4 canisters (minus the motor/top) full of media so all I would need would be two new motors/tops and I have two new XP4's for about $180 which wouldn't be too bad! If I ever find a cheap 180 gallon I was gonna use the 2 rena's on that.

If it isn't the motor what would it be? Just assuming it is the motor.

Damn...thats what I figured. Oh well...guess the rena will be running later than I had hoped for. Oh well!
