i was wondering if anybody out there had any suggestions on cool things that you can put in your tank to liven things up? i need ideas, i think it would be cool if people posted dyi backgrounds and odd things that ppl have put in their tanks... i would think it would be cool to post photos of your set-ups...

Ask Noddy he made a really nice diy background...looks cool.

in your other thread, somebody had posted that some people just post a question
without looking first for the topic you wish to look into... we, the old timers
and moderators always give a hand no matter how frequent same question is being asked.

i mainly use driftwood but also use very very cheap terracotta plant pots, rocks from garden (washed off) and have even used large chystals that i found in my garden again washed off, iv even seen people use old beer bottles..looked really cool, had a 'help me' note inside with a cork in it lol

i used to have background decor and substrate...but now no more....
the decor could hurt any of the fish when the pang splashing....

I think your fish are used to quite a lot.
I put a small pingpong ball in the tank once to see if the fish liked that.

No, they didn't...
They hated it and all of them freaked out.
They all looked at the ball like it was gonna eat them.
That was the last toy i ever tried.

Your Pangs look delicious, uhm, very nice!
And aggree on less decor for more swimming space for those monsters.
did i ever tell you my wife wanted to buy a Pangasius when she started her first tank.
I stopped her from getting it, for she only had a tiny tank at that time.
One week later we went to the zoo and saw some adults fullgrown specimen, reacing over 3 feet and massive!
She was glad i stopped her that time.

what worry me is my 5 year old granddaughter...she saw how fish is being hook
in the TV show.... and i've seen she is trying to make some hook line.... she
may succeeded in hooking my oscar with her toy fishing rod with lure at the end
of the line string....

paul, months and months ago befroe i stopped postign for a while u foudn some uneaten fry in yr tank and called one survivor, what ever happened to it?
