Hi Everyone :thumb:

This is siddhartha frm india ,I am having eheim 2217 of my tank size is L=60inch,B=18inch,W=18inch Total Tank Capacity:320lts,

1.Just wanted to know whether the bacteria colonisation will be more in Ceramic Rings or in Bio Balls as i have more of ceramic rings in my eheim 2217.

2.Should i change the media 50% of ceramic rings and 50% of bio balls in eheim 2217

3.The filtration experts have to help me in this matter :-? :-?

If I was forced to make a choice of which would hold more bacteria then I would probably choose the ceramic rings as they would probably have a slightly larger surface area, of course that is all depending on if you are talking about the same ones as I have had experience with.
