do u guys think it would be ok to put a whit t shirt into a mech filter?

i know nickisue uses pot cleaners as alot of you prob do, ive seen people on the tv filtering water to drink through there t shirts and it seamed to do a good job?

I don't see why not, after all, I would imagine that some of the fine filter floss is made out of cotton wool, or very similar material, as long as the material and doesn't contain any dye that may leach into your system, I would imagine it will be okay.

Just remember that this type of mechanical filtration may get clogged up quite quickly so keep an eye on it

a friend of mine uses them in his big pond filters and they do a pretty good job.
And it's easy to replace and pretty cheap!
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!

the problem with t-shirt material is, the dense constrict the water flow.
it is better to use old stockings or coarse sock instead. or better use the
materials used in making the quilt similar to this
