oh dear....went ahead and got that tank i was posting about earlier!! just got it home now (hanigng out the back of my car held in by ropes!! lol)

its 6 ft long, 2 1/2 ft (ish) bottom to top and yet to measure front to back.

glass lid needs replacing but no big deal. came with 2 LARGE heaters, about 8 larges rocks, gravel, filter media plus piping and lots of little nick nacks.

as well as that got a large home made but smart looking stand which need a lick of paint but is nice

all in all just needs a nice clean up (and b4 u ask the wife doesnt mind becasue it was such a bargain)

£40 the lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

will post pics when iv got it all cleaned up (been sat for a couple of months in last persons garage - used to hold jags)

to clear it up this is the same tank i was asking about for the sump and i think iv decided to just run a big canister filter on it via the drilled sump holes

yeah i will i wanna get it cleaned up and take pics now but gotta keep the wife sweet so were going for a meal lol

haha...yeah making the wife happy usually makes bringing a new tank in the house a little easier!

I have mine searching craigslist for big tanks when she is on the computer now! haha...a nice gift sweetened the deal!

I have a 60 gallon ready for my oscar, but I am looking for a 100 gallon instead for the oscar and then have a black ghost knife fish maybe in the 60? It has a huge filter, so it may do well... (No intention of hijacking the thread!!!)
