Guy on craigslist wants $100 for a 120 Gal, but doesnt want to bother with filling it up for me. Thoughts?

It needs resealing... Buy the tank, great deal... and we will teach you how to fix it...

It doesnt have a stand/ hood but I imagine I could build those =P

The Resealing? The guy said if it leaked I could bring it back and he would give me my money back os if it does maybe I could get him to pay for the silicone.

Oh jeez... I had to do that for a tank...
I bought a tank, and found all the silicon was gone once it started leaking... just some glue that bonds to glass held it together...

That was one GREAT experience...

The Mrs. yelled at me because the house was starting to stink because of the silicon...

In the end it worked though...

I work with silicone all the time I really dont even smell it anymore. If you have ever smelled ABS glue silicone barley has an odor.
