What should be a good tank size to house 2 oscars? A hint about the dimentions would be of great help. Would a 5ft x 2 ft x 2ft be good for them? How to calculate the volume in Gs after kowning the tank size?

agree, 5x2x2 will be fine, mines 4x2x2 so a bit on the small side for my 2 oscars really, but they are ok for now as they are very close..

my appologies on asking so many questions.... i just want my oscars to have the best that i can give them..... during my visit to the LFS i saw a ready-made tank of a better quality.
Dimentions :

5ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft

should i go for it?? Cause this one only calculates to 70 Gs (UK)

70 gallons might get a little cramped for two Oscars.

X2 70g would work well for 1 oscar. you could get away with a med sized mate(6" No bigger)as well but small for 2 o's.
