i have sand substrate and an oscar named Chief who loves to stir it up, so i need something that can do the job. Do most canister filters come with the pluming?

If you buy a brand-new canister then it will have all the pipework. If you buy them second hand them people normally provide the pipework with the filter. If not, the pipework and any spare parts are normally quite easy to get hold of from any supplier who sells that particular make of canister

something like an Eheim 2028 would run your tank very efficiently.

Marineland magnum 350 pro just purchased 2 on Amazon.com for $235 with shipping. ($114 each)comes with everything including dual bio wheels. would be a perfect fit for your 55

How does the Eheim 2028 do with sand. my TO likes to stir things up. I plan on putting some pantyhose on my intake to help with the sand storms.
