TOPIC: Magnum 350 carbon

I just bought a mag 350 canister filter and I'm wondering if people use things other than the carbon they suggest using. Like, could I put in ceramic rings or something and have it work just as well?

can you post a pic of the filter you are referring to... If I am thinking of the correct filter, I have a few ideas!

You can fill that basket with anything you like... I have that same filter on my tank at my moms and I have it full of Biomax...

At one point I had it full of Scrubbies... As long as it fits you will be fine!
