I have two tanks and my wife said I was only allowed to set up one at this time. I have one 60 gallon tank that is long but only 12inches in width and my other is 60 gallon as well but it is not as long but twice as wide and a little deeper more of a box as the other is a rectangle witch do you think my O would be happier in? The rectangle is nice because he's got some distance to swim but when turning around he seems kinda cramped now the box type 60 gallon gives plenty of room to turn around but less to swim as far as distance. I also have one more question the LFS has a Magnum 250 canister type filter system that he he got on trade in on a tank setup is this a better filter system then my two I currently have I have one HOB bio filter system and one regular HOB filter system that came from Walmart? I looked up the price for a new one and its like $150 and he wants to sell it to me for 50 YA OR NAY

The canister would be a better choice, and at 250 gallons per hour you would still need one of the HOB's you currently have.

As far as the tank it will be personal choice. I have one pair in a LONG 110, and one pair in a 135 Gallon Cube! They are all happy!
