took a frozen pea out the deep freeze shelled it let it defrost. and gave half to each of my oscars, they gulped it down, how sweet and no mess, lol xxxxxxx

Yeah, peas are thought to be a good way of avoiding constipation, you're lucky, most Oscars spit them out in disgust as I'm not sure they are much of a substitute for a nice crunchy smelly pellet

hey all, is it ok to feed oscars any kind of vegetable that they will eat? i have given my oscars romaine lettuce, spinich, cucumbers, and carrots. they really seem to love these. i haven't tried peas yet. is there any vegetable known to harm them? what about fruits?

fishes in the wild will take anything that falls in the river, sometimes
they spit it out, sometimes they don't.
in my case... i love to watch my fishes chomping boiled corn in the cob....
