Hey guys and girls.

About to purchase a 55 gallon tank and cabinet, not sure on filtration at the moment (pick up tomorrow), but i think the one i get is an Aqua One Aquis 500 and an internal filter of some sort (but i might put a fluval external on it).
I was thinking some sort of communal cichlid tank or maybe a single (little bit) larger cichlid with a few silver dollars... I'd love another oscar, but i think ill try somethin different.
Wasnt expecting a new tank, so havent thought about it! What are my choices? ;D

Yeah, a 55 gallon is ready-made for keeping small community fish. You could have one single Oscar or a few smaller fish. A few silver dollars would be really nice with maybe one smaller Cichlid as well. As for exactly what fish, there are so many out there, you'd have to do a little research and see what you like
