does joomla allow the creation of sub-forums? I have a suggestion, but if not, it is irrelavent, since its a suggestion for one

I think we will need more than one sub forum. We want to try and avoid having to click too many times to get to where you want to go. Anyway, what are your suggestions?

To make the forum less cluttered, you put the Pets forum, Members other hobbys, and Your videos forums as sub-forums under off-topic discussion. The only reason I'm suggestion this is to make it less cluttered, plus the page wouldn't be so long. Just a thought for now or later on when the site is revised or whatever to make it nicer.
Just a thought.

Actually, that is a very good idea, maybe we could do the same with the Oscar forum as well? What do you reckon?

Hmm. Not sure about the oscar forums. I think those are more active, and more general. However, I think the CA/SA cichlid forum mine as well just be changed to just the Cichlid Forum, eh?

maybe it could be broken down in south american, central american, and african.

Why don't you all submit your suggestions for sub forums and we can come to an agreement on the best lay out. At the moment we've just got cichlids and all other tropical fish,. It would be no hassle to create some sub forums for different types of Cichlid and tropical fish.

honestly, i am not sure if any sub-forum will works
the way it should be. there are some instances that
people post their concern in the wrong thread. giving
them more area to look into might just create more
confusion or mix-up.
just my opinion thou.

I think I might put the "Plants" forum as a sub-forum under "Other tropical fish", doesn't get that much activity anyways. Perhaps adding a thread in this section and stickying it would help new members understand the sub-forums?
Necro, you mean like MFK, i presume?  I think that might be a good idea once we get some more traffic in that section.
