Let me start off by saying that OFL.com will remain to run as normal for the foreseeable future, I will make sure of that.

I've had some health issues lately, spent time in hospital recently having my right kidney removed. I still think there is an underlying problem somewhere, not sure what yet but I'm not giving myself a clean bill of health just yet.

Sadly the fish tank is an added worry that I can well do without. whilst I was in hospital something went wrong with the aquarium. I don't know what but fish have started dying. I have debated over the last few days and have decided that for the sake of the fishes health, I'm going to give them to people who hopefully can dedicate 100% of their time to looking after my fish properly.

I will be giving away all my fish free of charge to anybody who can give them a suitable home.

This is a list of the fish I have a moment

Six red Oscars - approximately 10 to 11 inches
Three Juripari - approximately 4 inches
One Leporinus -approximately 10 inches
Three Severums - one gold spotted red approximately 7 inches, two green, around 6 inches
Two Blue Acara - one around 4 inches, the other 3 inches
Two silver dollars - six & 5 inches

Unfortunately I have lost three of my clown loach. There is still 1 7inch in the tank. However I think this has been affected by the problem that occurred during my stay in hospital. I will have to monitor it.

So there you go, if you live near Torbay Devon and think you can take any of these fish, please contact me via this forum and we can arrange a time for you to come.

Let me reiterate what I've already said, the website/forum is not closing. I will be around as normal, obviously depending on the health issues.

Oh Penn I am so sorry, I know this must have been a VERY difficult decision for you and my heart breaks for you. I know you only have the best interest of the fish in mind and I salute you for that.

I hope you and the Quacks can figure out what needs to be done to figure out how to make you 100%. I will continue to pray for you. Keep your head up and you know if there is anything any of us can do to help you all you have to do is ask....

My thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope things get better for you soon...

Devastating news Penn. I don't know what else to say other than, very sorry. its a big shock to me.

Is just one of those things Marcus. But like I said, things will stay exactly the same, I just will not be keeping fish for the moment.

If I lived closer I would offer to come and do the maintenance (free of course) But i live in London. even though I love riding my bike its a little too far.)))) I wish you well, I am not really a praying person but i will have A try just in case.

Im very sorry to hear about your illness. I personaly have been there myself, as I was hospitalized last week also. If I can help in any way, please ask. I know some posters will be glad to help.

to say im sorry to hear about your dilema is a huge understatement. like marcus said if you were closer i also would help you with maintenance but unfortunetly....

Really sorry to hear about your health. I hope things start looking up for you as soon as poss! I had a major operation myself just over a year ago,sometimes things can take a while to improve.
