TOPIC: Tank mates for O's in 175g tank

Tank mates for O's in 175g tank 1 year, 11 months ago #102123

Hey peeps,

Was wondering if I should get any tank mates for my two red O's. I have a 175Galon (660 liter) tank which currently houses the 2 juvenile O's and an albino bristlenose.

Should I get some tank mates for the O's...or will they "fill up" the tank enough when they're older?

Also...if you suggest tank mates...what and how many?

Just call me JAX...everyone else does

How about a few silver dollars to give the tank some movement.

Thought about SD's as well to be honest...but not quite sure how many the tank can accommodate. Dimensions are 6/2/2 feet

since you have space why not cichlids. JDs, severums, acaras, red parrots, firemouths would be great. just make sure they are smaller than your Os cuz some of these might bully smaller Os

your tank is way big enough to fit two os they will get around a foot long heres where i get to brag i have ventured onto the beaten path and mixed lake malawi cichilds with the south african cichilds i no other people have done this before but for a real buitiful tank you can mix them the best mix with south africans is lake malawi cichilds
