Has any one tried a freshwater Puffer with a Oscar?

No but mine are in with 4 hoplo's catfish and channa lucius and they all get on great!!

I thought most freshwater puffers were actually brackish.

I also thought that most of them were either way too small to keep with an O as well.

Been a while since I looked it up.

ya, at first the puffer and oscars were about the same size, the puffer actually picked on them. but soon would that change. the oscars grew much quicker then the puffer and almost killed it. i ended up giving the puffer away.
