Hi guys

Just went fishing to a place called Hazelwood Pondage. Its a man made pond in Victoria, Australia that is used by the Power station to cool down the water.

As a result, the water is always 25 degrees.. even though we are in a temperate region!

Its been documented for over 30 years, that people have callously released african and american cichlids into the water.

I went yesterday and managed to catch red devils, convicts, tilapia and african blue zebras.

Added them to my 7ft Oscar tank and its going pretty well. (I know stupid idea because I didnt quarantine them!!)

If you ever visit Victoria, you gotta check it out.

amazing the types of fish that have set up camp there tho..

well it wasnt there choice but it is cool

amazing, no need for a LFS, just go fishing and keep what you fancy

now i'm jealous, most fish in Holland ared dull coloured.
I'd love to do some fishing over there.

Blue zebras arent that brilliant =(. Red Devil is pretty colourful though.
