I wanted to share my latest video and my latest acquisition. A rare blue diamond flowerhorn (juvie). Strangely they all get along pretty well.

I know my tank is going to be too small in a few months, so I am shopping around now.

Le Sigh, these guys will eventually outgrow this tank so, I am currently shopping around for a custom 84x24x18 aquarium. If you know anyone that builds tanks.

I am also considering a standard 180 size tank.

Questions, comments, criticisms always welcome.

Keep an eye on craigslist. You'd be surprised what you will find on there. Tank looks very good.

What country are you in. That way people who live in your country can recommend tank makers!

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. I am paranoid about water quality etc... When the oscars fish and they get scars and lose scales, i freak out about water conditions more.

The flowerhorn I have been told is quite rare. Mine was $200, and an adult is $2800

After doing more research, he may be a she. Which is one of the reasons she looks unique. May have to rename Neptune to a feminine blue name.

I live in the United States (South Florida (miami)) to be exact.

Blood parrots are going to get in the 10" range when finished. The oscars will get in the 12-14" range. The oscars will need at least a 110 gallon tank by themselves (minimum) and the blood parrot needs 40-50 gallons ideally itself. I am looking at a 180-200 gallon tank to keep my guys in permanently. Looking now at a 7'x2'x2' job.

Thanks Matt. I am going to try and capture several hours of video from different angle, and compose a film. The guys I have are quite entertaining. I find that I watch them more than I watch the TV.

If anyone on here has any tips on how to capture really great aquarium footage, let me know. I always have a glare problem. That, and normally, since some of my fish aren't that fond of BRIGHT light, I only have one of the two blubs in. I run at 1/2 light.
