i will depend on how your o will accept new comer.... remembber, the o
has that territorial characteristics...and if they decide not to accept
the angel fish, be ready to re-home them...

in my case, i was able to keep an angel fish with 2 full grown oscars and
2 huge pangasius...

give it a try....

will a 135 g tank be enough for all 6 of them just in case they do accept them ???

to be honest...you are quite tight already...however, SD and angel fish
do have minimal waste, thus, your FX5 can cover for them....

I dont think angel fish make good tankmates for oscars. They are not hardy enough to stand up to an oscar if it decides it dont like the angels

I used to have a large Angelfish with 2 Oscars and other larger cichlids in my Old 230 Gallon tank. The angelfish actually did great, it was plenty aggressive to hold its own. I think the key will be how you introduce the fish together, and making sure the Angel is big enough.

I would like to see it work out. It was a nice combo for me at the time.

I got no scientific proof, but imo my school of 6 SD's does add quite a bit to my bioload.
I think in my case the 6 of them may weigh just as much as one of my oscars, and i think the 6 of them would eat as much as one oscar, if they got the chance.

Mind you the oscars do take 80% of the pellets, before the SD's get to the food.
The SD's allways have to do with the scraps from the oscars, gar and plecos, and they don't have a special diet for themselves.
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!
