So my big oscar hasn't been beating up on the little one since we moved. But then just today he started again. So I said that's it, I went to the LFS and got some giant danios for some dithers. The owner (who is very knowledgeable and doesn't try to scam people) said that giant danios would be great dither fish because they are to fast for the oscars to catch.
So I put the giant danios in, and what a show. My oscars immediately went after them, but these fish are lightening fast. The GDs seem to be dodging the oscars at half speed.
Anyway I have been sitting here watching the oscars try to catch the GDs and this is the most fun I've ever had watching my aquarium, talk about action! So I just wanted to share my thoughts with everyone on GDs as a dither fish
