i was wondering if i had an acceptable ammount of fish in my tank as some one sed i was overstocked i got 1 oscar "doug" 2 plecs, 2 clown loaches , 1 c,a,e , 1 blue lobster and 5 corydoras the opscar dont seem to bother any of the other fishes day or night doug has been in my tank for about 3 months and hes seems really happy but the only thing thats really troubling me is that my blue lobster has just got his pincers bk and i dont wanna wake up 1 mrning and find (ie) 1 of my clown loaches in half as i will not be a happy camper i paid 5.99 each for mine @ pets@home( rip off!!!!) what do you lot think and any suggestions will be taking serious

imo you are overstocked firstly if your plecs are common or sailfin they grow really big up to 24". the chinese algea eater grows to about 10".your oscar to about 14". i would keep the oscar(of course)and maybe one or two other(clown loaches?)and rehome the others. that should be enough in a 75 gal tank

As said in a different post the lobster is probably not a good idea. And watch those corys. Years ago my dad kept oscars and it ate a cory. The spins stuck out through the oscars mouth and he had to manually remove it
