How would an Oscar do with a Reedfish?
An need an answer ASAP please:)

A lot of people will know this as a rope fish. they can get quite large, over 2 feet long. you will need a large tank if you are going to keep one of these fish, especially if you're going to keep Oscars as well. you'll also need places for it to hide. If the fish is large enough, it should be okay with the Oscars in the tank. However, I would advise against getting a juvenile and putting it in with the Oscar, the chances are, it will become a tasty meal

SWEET! I have a 125g that I will be setting up. is that big enough? I am looking into stocking ideas I would like to have an oscar, ropefish, and convicts. is that ok? if so about how many of each would you recommend?

I have never kept a rope fish before, I think they recommend something like 400 L. I think they can reach 3 feet in the wild, normally a couple of feet in captivity. I think 125 gallons is a little small for the fish you have suggested. However, it does depend on how big the rope fish will get, you will also need some very good filtration
