If you have a 90+ gallon tank then possibly but,NO!!! They will KILL EACH OTHER TO DEATH just like 2 male Oscars going at it...If you have that big of a tank or BIGGER then maybe like I said but 90 or smaller then NOPE it won't work...Sorry

mixing the two species will be a disaster. getting a big tank
then putting a divider is not practical. i suggest you just buy
two medium size tank, say 2 x 75 or 90 gal and rear them separately.
you will enjoy having both with no potential problem.

that should work out fine and for the flowerhorn make sure you have it setted up for a complete housing for it or it will venture out into the Oscars terrioty and could mean a kill either one of them and good luck with the tank too that should be more than enough room but still be cautious because,Flowerhorns have more of a mean streak than the Oscars

in all probablility the flowerhorn will kill the oscar if kept in the same tank. oscar are probably one of the least aggressive new world cichlids there are. the only advantage they have is there size and flowerhorns grow large as well and since they are hybrids of a red devils they have the agggresiveness that would make short work of an o.

now not all fish are the same, personality wise, and there is a chance that it could work but i really dont think so. i beleive your best option is to house them independly of each other or choose another tankmate that can be housed with your oscar.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

I side with Paul and necromancer, the risk isnt worth it,two tanks would be best.
