I'm almost finished with planning my 675 GAL. and now it is finally time to start making a list of any fish I'm going to put in it.
Here's what I want.
6-8 Oscars (number can be changed to accomodate different tank mates.)
Arowana
Jurapari
Silver dollars?
Some sort of catfish.

Please post any ideas you have for my tank.
At this stage my tank design and fish choices are MOSTLY based on what you guys say.

what to put in a 675 gallon tank. i wish i had your problem. well to start with if your set on having oscars i would go with an central/south american theme. start with oscars and maybe go with some jack dempseys, some acaras, saums, severums and maybe a texas(these can be a little aggressive). for bottom feeders some geophgaus species and maybe some type of hardy barbs. personnally i would stay away from the more aggressive "guapote" family of cichlids such as jaguars, doviis ect.

I'm not sure I want to theme the tank, but I'll take it in to consideration.

if you dont go with a theme setup just make sure that the fish you do choose all have the same water and dietary requirements for healthy growth.
